Bring New Life to Old Furniture

Often designers get the unfortunate stereotype that we want to blow your budget and throw out all your items to start from scratch. That is simply not the case! Whenever possible we love to reuse items, keep them out of the landfill and give them new life!

Sometimes, the client has a piece we work with, and sometimes we source vintage or antique items to have it restyled.

Below are some awesome examples of mixing in older items and updating their look for the new design!

1.Our client had an existing set of dining chairs, however, not enough - so we found some chairs similar in style on Chairish, then we repainted and used the same fabric on both frames, to make them appear like an intentional pairing!

2. This client had this antique bed frame - the fabric was dated and not really a great match for the look we were going for, so it got a bit of new life in a velvety wine color fabric.

3. Another story of a bed frame that didn't flow with the design, so stripes it was for this master bed!

4. This dining room features two examples of restyling older pieces! The dining chairs received a complete facelift, new white lacquer paint and durable faux leather seats paired nicely alongside a vintage buffet that now proudly sits in the room as the most beautiful shade of blue!

5. Our client for this project loves mid-century modern furniture, however, as many know most MCM furniture comes in varying shades of wood tones, we didn't want the space to have all wood pieces, so we pumped it up a notch with this sunny yellow paint. We are smitten!
